The Article is devoted to the basics of statistical analysis. The author reveals the subject, indicators and the main stages of statistical analysis of the market. Particular attention is paid to the system of quantitative and qualitative indicators designed to assess the parties to market relations. The sources of absolute and relative indicators, which are the basis of statistical analysis, are given.
