Startups in the Republic of Belarus: actual issues of development

The article is devoted to actual problems of development of startups in the Republic of Belarus. Analysis and systematization of existing approaches to startup understanding are carry out. There is the definition of "startup" and its characteristics in this article. The article emphasizes the factors contribute to development of startups in the Republic of Belarus. The article contains actual statistics of dynamics of innovative business, financial input, sources of startup financing and development of startups in the Republic of Belarus in 2016-2017. Chart of ecosystem of startups in the Republic of Belarus has been made up by author. On the base of this chart comparison to American experience of formation of entrepreneurial ecosystem has been carried out.
