Formation of the Soviet film system (1920s-1930s)

Based on documentary material the author of the article highlights a phenomenon of the creation of the Soviet cinema system in the 1920-1930. Soviet film industry of these years has played an important role in the upbringing of the «new person». The article shows a mechanism of decision-making on the fate of the motion pictures that have become classics of Soviet cinema. The results of so-called Kremlin prereleases were determined by personal preferences of the party leader Joseph Stalin.
