Comparative analysis of the living standards in Mongolia in regional perspective

Regional development is one of the important directions of the government policy of Mongolia. This direction is specified in the document of Strategy of development until 2020. The standard of living is one of the main indicators of social and economic development. The article analyzes the characteristic features of the reproduction of human potential. Thus the authors have an opportunity to draw a conclusion about the level of tension among the population. The article compares the living standards in the regional aspect, which allows identifying the poorest regions. It studies the policy of the state to face the poverty and directions of the development. Multivariate analysis shows the development of each region's potential allows economic development and decent living conditions. The authors give the reasons for proposals for the development of social programmes aimed at improving the education of the population.
