Comparative analysis of results of students’ medical examination of the Astrakhan State Medical University

The article presents the analysis of medical examinations (from 1991 to 2016) of students of Astrakhan State Medical University. It shows the decrease in the number of healthy students and indicators of their physical fitness. This tendency is present despite the state policies to support physical education and sports and population health. The study implies the search for new ways to motivate the younger generation to do sports or various systems of physical exercises
