Models of artefacts distribution on the Early Neolithic sites of the Dnepr-Dvina region

Бесплатный доступ

The 3d fixation of all finds during the archaeological excavations opens to us new possibilities of making the models of the distribution of artefacts in cultural layer. Such methods used in the excavations of Neolithic sites of Dnepr-Dvina region allowed us to trace micro horizons of sites inhabitation, develop microchronology of the sites, trace the process of their burying in the soil, distinguish different economic zones. This method is particularly important to use on the sites whose cultural layers are buried in the sand, where it is difficult to distinguish any lithological horizons and trace archaeological objects.
