Modern tasks of basic and additional education in Russia and abroad

Introduction. Modern education in Russia and in the world is going through a crisis; it has faced many practically insoluble problems. Two leading problems are as follows: a sharp drop in the level of psychological health and well-being of subjects of education, and actual stoppage of education, which arose due to the fact that many students and trainees could not switch to the regime proposed to them (in fact, the regime of self-education). In addition to the impact of the stress factor, including the stress of an innovative form of education, it is necessary to mention the minimization of the presence of a teacher. In this regard, an important task arises - to restore the content related to character building and discipline, in particular, returning to the systems of building relationships traditional for pedagogy, to the traditional formats of educational and extra-curricular work. The teacher is the most important link and guarantor of the quality of education. The purpose of the study is to analyze the tasks of modern education in Russia and in the world. Results and Discussion. Among the main tasks of modern education are the tasks of restoring the traditions of domestic and world basic and additional education; increasing the prestige of the profession and work of a teacher, improving the quality of training, proficiency and advanced training of teachers; strengthening teaching staff, abandoning the ideology of competitiveness and the commercialization of education; development of "road maps" for improving the quality of general and professional education; analysis and correction of mistakes and failures in basic and additional education in recent decades; creating the most comfortable, rich, full-fledged environment for human development that meets the capabilities and achievements of science, art, and production of the 21st century; prevention and correction of psychological, social and other disorders in the lives of students, teachers, their families, through targeted support of society and the state; integration of individual (family, tutoring), basic and additional education into a single system supported by the state and society. Conclusions. The education in Russia and in the world in recent decades has suffered significant damage related to the deformation of its content, procedural and formal aspects. As a result, scientists and educators faced a number of tasks related to finding a way out of the crisis. The prospects for studying the problems of modern and additional education are connected with the development and testing of programs to overcome the system of destructive consequences of the world education reforms carried out in recent decades.
