Modern tendencies and specific features of criminal offences committed against police officers

Introduction: the author of the article carries out a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the crimes committed against police officers to determine the subject of a typical criminalistics method of investigating these criminal offenses. The author notes that due to a not great number of crimes committed against the investigators of the Department of Internal Affairs under Art. 294, 295 and 296 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation as well as a current steady tendency of their reducing it is impossible to identify reliable features of disclosing and investigating such crimes to include them into the methodology to investigate criminal offenses committed against police officers.
