Modern technologies of sites construction under oil storage tanks

The urgency of increasing the bearing capacity of soils during the construction of sites for oil storage tanks has been identified. The possible features of soils in places of erection of sites are generalized. The review of modern technologies aimed at increasing the stability and verticality of reservoirs on loose non-cohesive soils is presented. Features of drying technologies, mechanical seal, grouting and colmatage by clays, bituminization, carburizing and silicification are systematized. It is shown that the technologies lead to a decrease in porosity, permeability, increase in strength and endurance of soils.
