The current status and further development of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China in the energy sector under the “Silk road economic belt” strategy

Cooperation in the energy sector plays an important role in relations between theRussian Federation and China. The article examines the « Silk Road EconomicBelt» strategy and analyzes the possibilities of energy cooperation within theframework of this strategy. An unshakable foundation for such cooperation is thelong-term trust and fruitful relations that have been developed between Russiaand China for many decades.
