Betweens of the following concepts «complainant», «sufferer», «victim»

The article considers the concept of a person to whom a crime injured harm and its legislative basis in accordance with the current criminal law and criminal procedure law. Theoretical and legal analysis of the concepts of "complainant", "sufferer" and "victim" is carried out. Existing copyrights positions regarding the interpretation and legal regulation of these concepts are examined. The author poses the question: "Is the sufferer a victim of crime?". Criminal law provisions contemplated in its structure different kinds of complainant are subject to careful analysis. In conclusion, the findings on the subject are made by the author.
