Sonnet in the context of the oriental poetry of the Russian emigrants in China

The theme of East takes an important role in the sonnet creative work of the poets of the Russian Far-Eastern abroad and mainly determines its artistic individuality. The analysis of the sonnets of V. Ivanov, M. Shcherbakov and M. Volin demonstrates that the influence of Orientalism isn’t restricted by the external thematic level (mythological archaic character, literary facts, facts of a life). The author concludes about the ability of the sonnet genre to implement the philosophic and aesthetic, moral basis of the Oriental world view better and increasingly.
