The content of elements of track and field cross-country race in schoolchildren''S physical training

The article presents data aimed at developing of the content of the program component "Cross-country race training" for schoolchildren of comprehensive secondary schools. This publication is the continuation of the article published in journal "Physical Education, Sport - Science and Practice", 2015, № 2, "Effective ways of overcoming obstacles in track and field cross-country race." The research was based on the approach according to which the most rational ways of obstacles overcoming when studying the section «Track and field cross-country race training» have to be preferred in relation to others (less rational). Thus, studying of priority ways is provided with considerable time frames and it has to go through all the stages: from acquaintance and initial learning through profound studying and improvement for special organized control. Not priority ways can be studied in the truncated look therefore smaller time can be allocated for their development. Time distribution for development of these or those ways of overcoming obstacles is offered to be counted by means of a correlation method. The obtained data allow to note that priority means of practical realization of ways of obstacles overcoming depending on age and sex are: overcoming of obstacles with jumps "coming", "in a step", "a barrier step", "having bent feet" and basic "side", and also "climbing over", "fall over" and "jump over". The data obtained during the research allow to carry out the training process according to the section «Track and field cross-country race training» rationally.
