Social protection of the population in the Rostov region: current state and development priorities

The article examines the essence, the legal basis for the management of the social protection system of the population in the Rostov region, reveals the types of social assistance in the region. The main characteristics of the population of the region are studied, taking into account the need for social assistance, as well as the features of the current state of the social protection system at the regional level. The priorities of social protection of the population of the Don region and the need for their improvement are highlighted.
