Social role of religion in migration processes in modern Russian

Positive social role of religion in migration processes is studied in the present paper. Many sociologists ignore the importance of religion in the life of migrants. The author tries to prove that the religious factor is a strong support in the everyday life of migrants, which helps them to accustom themselves socially and psychologically to a new place of residence. The role of religion is especially important at the stage of entering a new cultural and ethnical environment.
