Systematic approach to ensuring the economic security of a commercial bank

Banking, like any other business activity, is associated with certain risks and threats that have a direct impact on its security. Given the special role of the banking sector in the economic development of the state, the problems of ensuring the security of banks remain very relevant in modern economic conditions and require special attention, both from the state and from the management of a commercial bank. The article deals with the organization of a systematic approach to solving this problem. Today, there are no uniform guidelines for the formation of a security system for a commercial bank, and each bank independently solves this problem. However, in the context of increasing threats and risks of banking activity, it is necessary to strengthen banking regulation and control by the Bank of Russia. Improving all aspects of supervisory activities and creating an adequate system of early diagnosis in banks will allow timely response to risks and threats to banking activities and ensure the security of the entire banking system of the state.
