Synchronous detector for bridge eddy current probes

In this paper, the circuit-based realization of a synchronous (key) detector for the separation of a useful signal generated by AC bridge circuits, in particular, a bridge-based transducer (VTD) is considered. The functional diagram of the above detector, the operating principle and the time diagrams of the detector operation are considered in the article. The comparison of the synchronous detector circuit with the classical variant of the amplitude detector is shown the advantages and disadvantages of a synchronous detector for a bridge VTP are noted. The ways of further development of the circuit-based realization of the synchronous detector are proposed.
