The tomb Xinzhuangtou M30 - burial of the member of elite of Loufan tribe (kindered to pazyryk culture people) in Yan kingdom's service (middle 3 century b.c)

This article is devoted to gorgeous artifacts from the elite burial XinzhuangtouM30 from the Lover Capital of the Yan state (Yixian, Hebei province). These things havestylistic similarity with artifacts belonged to the Pazyryk culture of Altai. Basing on theexamination of these artifacts, and of similar gold, silver and bronze objects from Ordoson one hand and on Chinese written sources on the other hand, a conclusion is made thatthe discussed tomb belonged to a member of the part of Loufan tribe, which had been inYan kingdom's service as frontier guards. The author improves his opinion that «Loufan»was the title of nomads which had resettled to Ordos and to the northern frontiers of Chinafrom Mountain Altai at the end of IV century BC
