2743 megafaunal remains have been collected or registered on the beaches and sand banks of the Chumysh river (Altai region) in 2016. The total amount of the osteological assemblage, collected at the Chumysh in 2011-2016, is 9,7 k of the bone remains related to 23 large mammal species. The bones are washed away by the river from the the lowermost part of the second terrace above the floodplain. They are transported to a sandy and pebble beaches in spring flood. The most interesting finding from the Chumysh is the whole skull of cave hyena (C. crocuta spelaea). 437 megafaunal remains have been collected at the Chick river in 2016. The most interesting findings from the Chick are the part of cave hyena skull, the whole femur of lynx (L. lynx), and also a first for the South of Western Siberia - the human frontal bone of pleistocene preservation type. The total amount of the osteological assemblage, collected at the Chick, is 1757 of the bone remains related to 18 large mammal species. All the bone remains from the Chick were found in the riverbed in redeposited state. The osteological assemblage, collected at the sand bank of the Ob River near Bibikha village has doubled in 2016. It amounts up to 1870 of the bone remains related to 15 large mammal species. The bones of large mammals obviously are washed away from the Middle Pleistocene layer located below the water line. Then they are brought on the sandy-pebble beach near Bibikha in the spring and summer floods. There are 50 radiocarbon dates on the bones from the Chumysh river and 13 dates from the Chick. Most of them belong to Karginsky time within 30-45 thousand years ago, but there are also dates > 50 thousand years ago, and later - the Sartan and Early Holocene age.
