The article provides information on the state of boxwood stands on the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory, damaged by caterpillars of boxwood fire. The degree of weakening of plantations and the scale of their death are shown. It is indicated that in 2014 at the pupal stage there was no death of boxwood fire from diseases and parasitoid. It is suggested that in 2015-2016. boxwood flap will occupy the boxwood in its entire range in the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea. This will make a realistic prospect of a complete loss of the first boxwood, as a relict formation of the Caucasian forests, and then a boxwood of Colchis as a species.
