The article deals with main features of perception of Roman Catholicism and Protestantism by the heathenry and non-Orthodox nations living in Russia in 18 century. The author analyzes the possibilities of influence of the West Christianity religions on spiritual life of some indigenous groups of Volga region, Ural, Siberia and North Caucasus.
