"Russianism" as an answer to the "westernism" in the era of the "clash of civilizations"

The article considers the future path of the Russian society development in the framework of the civilization approach. It is shown that with the end of the post-Soviet period of the Russian history, the pro-Western Sovietism is now developing, since it has never been possible to build a democratic society in Russia similar to one in the Western countries, because of national and civilizational specificity, significantly different from the Western one. The author introduces the concept of "Russianism" as orientation on the civilizational values of the "Russian world", the main mission of which is to protect the weak and the oppressed from the expansion of "Westernism".
