Role of university in the process of formation of individual human capital: theory and practice

Analysis of the works of modern Russian and foreign scientists allows us to conclude that investment in human capital should be considered as one of the key factors of economic growth and sustainable economic development of the national economy. The total human capital is formed over a long period and depends on many factors, one of which is education. In this article, the author reveals the concept of individual human capital (IHC), analyzes some of its components and, on this basis, shows the role of the university in the process of formation and development of individual human capital. The article describes the ways of forming such components of the HCI as: knowledge, professionalism, creativity, creativity, innovation, passion, assertiveness. It is these qualities that are formed in the process of obtaining professional education, according to the author, it is necessary to develop among graduates of creative professions. The graduate must be ready to search for new solutions, have the ability to turn them into innovations, to ensure the forward movement of both an individual company and the economy as a whole. The article reveals the experience of the formation of individual human capital in the ANO VO “Institute of Business and Design” in the process of preparing graduates for programs of higher professional education.
