The role of workers as witnesses at the Shakhty trial 1928

The paper is focused on the analysis of testimonies of mine workers, who took part in the Shakhty trial 1928 as witnesses. The main task is to define the role of workers at the show trial of the group of «bourgeous» specialists, accused of «wrecking». Behavior of witnesses is analyzed in context of social and class relations of that time.
