The role of the museum of Grigory Zhuravlyov in forming the touristic space of Samara region

The article reveals the role of the G. Zhuravlev museum on the development of tourism in Samara region. The museum is located in the village Utyovka in Neftegorsky district of Samara region. G.N. Zhuravlyov was born in the village of Utyovka and had no limbs since birth, but despite this he had graduated from the county school and the school of painting in Samara, and managed to develop his talent, creating in a true sense non-handmade works of art: icons, portraits, frescoes. The example of his life shows the strength of the human spirit and the desire to be useful to people not only to his contemporaries, but also to future generations. The article discloses the stages of the formation of the museum of Grigory Nikolaevich Zhuravlev, and shows the influence of K.E.Danilov and A.S. Malinovsky on the formation of the museum's funds and its promotion. The museum's activities are not only happening on their own walls, but also outside. The museum has created a popular excursion project, which is being implemented on the territory of Utyovka village and includes places associated with the life and work of G.N. Zhuravlyov. The active project activity, in which the museum participates, gives an opportunity in the future to develop various types of tourism.
