Role of intellectual property in the development of international trade

The article is devoted to the benefits that countries developing intellectual property rights (IP) protection systems receive. The main advantages include the scale of trade and foreign direct investment. One of the constraints on the economic growth of developing countries is their own weak IP protection system, which limits both the choice of consumer goods and services and the access of local companies to new technologies.
