Reconstruction of the lifestyle in the historical district of Ulan-Ude (based on archival materials)

The article presents the reconstruction of the urban lifestyle of the historical center of Ulan-Ude. The research work was based on personal funds of the State Archives of the Republic of Buryatia. We have used an interdisciplinary approach, stemming from the unity of historical, social and spatial components. We have traced the continuity of everyday life of people living in this district through the analysis of the various aspects of their lifestyle (daily routine, mobility, migration and social communications, socioeconomic status and consumer habits).
