Data on finds of rare and especially protected species of vertebrates of flood plain of Small Cheremshan river of Tatarstan Republic near Appakovo village are provided in this article. The 17 rare and especially protected species of vertebrates of Tatarstan is revealed. A number of types weren't noted earlier, or are found for the first time for a long period.
