Rare and protected species finded on the sand massif “The Golubinsky sands” in May 2021

In May 2021, the studies were conducted at the protected area “The Golubinsky sandy massif” (the Volgograd region). The habitat of the protected species Cetraria steppae, Rhrynocephalus guttatus, Dipus sagitta has been confirmed. For the first time, the basidiomycete Geastrum fornicatum was recorded for protected area. Rare, but not taken under the protection in the Volgograd region, species of Tulostoma pulchellum, Geastrum minimum, Sicista subtilis were found.
