One of the most discussed topics in modern genetics is the technology emergence for editing of biological objects genomes CRISPR / Cas9, which has a huge impact on molecular biology, this technology allows adding, removing and making changes to the genome of various organisms, including higher mammals. It is an innovative and powerful tool for obtaining animals with specified characteristics. It has become possible in a relatively short time to create an animal with the modified genome, which improves the quality and efficiency of livestock production. The article gives an successful experiments overview in the world practice of editing agricultural animals using CRISPR / Cas9 technology.
