The development of piglets' large intestine wall from birth till 45-days age

When piglets get older and their diet and feeding ration changes there happen changes of functional loading on structural units of intestine wall, which is accompanied by adaptation changes. All these processes express in increasing mucous thickness, mucous membrane itself, submucous base of mucous membrane, increasing of muscular membrane (except rectum) in relation to the all thickness of intestine wall. The depth of crypts laying is the most important in compare with their width and crypts quantity within 550 mkm of mucous membrane length.
