The article discusses the importance of developing new products to increase the company's competitiveness. This study focuses on the model and theory that define the way a product portfolio is managed in a way that supports success in new product development. The review is based on selected studies on the frontier of product management, summarized and compared based on the experience of the authors, existing models, and theory, with results based on qualitative rather than quantitative approaches.
