Distribution of copper and magnesium atoms on cation sites of the solid solutions Bi2Mg1-xCuxNb2O9 with pyrochlore structure

Solid solutions of copper and magnesium in bismuth niobates were synthesized and studied with different methods. Distribution of cations Cu2+ and Mg2+ on two cations sub lattices was determined by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermal gravimetry (TG) and measuring compactness with the help of densemeter. The oxygen deficiency was calculated on the basis of obtained data.
