The opposition of Russia and the "collective West": impact on industrial production

Starting from February 2022, the political and economic confrontation between Russia and the “collective West” has intensified. This gave rise to turbulence in the development of the economy in general and industry in particular. Sanctions have a destabilizing effect on the industry of the countries involved in their implementation (both the countries imposing sanctions and Russia). And this is confirmed by the statistical data available at the time of preparation of the author's article. At the same time, the study shows that unique preconditions for the technological and structural restructuring of the Russian industry have been formed today. And these prerequisites should be considered in the model of the new industrial policy.
