Industry personnel and industrialization of Stalingrad in the late 1920s and 1930s

Based on archival documents, the article highlights the ways of solving the problem of qualified personnel shortage during the industrialization of Stalingrad in the late 1920s and 1930s. The author concludes that the difficulties associated with the personnel crisis at the industrial enterprises of the city were overcome through the collaboration of the regional and municipal labor departments and factory directorates on the issue of training personnel and attracting foreign specialists.
