Origin of the term «economy»

The article discusses the origin of the economy in the country. Since ancient times, people have tried to find the laws by which the economy develops, to find and determine what economic concepts depend on. But most often, as a result of this activity, subjective principles of development of economic systems still far from perfect were formulated that were true only for a certain time. The sources of economic science should be sought in the teachings of thinkers of the ancient world: countries of the Ancient East, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome.
