Prediction of metrological perormance in titration analysis with the use of Monte Carlo method

A new approach to prediction of metrological performance in titrimetrical analysis, based on the use of Monte Carlo method, has been suggested. Stochastic models of standardization of alkali by a strong acid has been studied as an example, by the method of maximum steepness and the method of titration curve step. High prediction capability of stochastic models has been shown. Thus, predicted relative standard deviation has been found to equal sr = 0,2 %, compared to sr = 0,3 % determined for experimental results. The technology of modeling realization in Excel electronic tables has been discussed.
