Project office as a tool for the implementation of project-oriented management in a professional educational organization

The article presents the results of a study conducted by the Center for Comparative Pedagogy and Innovation of the Chelyabinsk Institute of the Vocational Education Development on the issue of updating the project-oriented management methodology by professional educational organizations of the Chelyabinsk region, in particular, the work of the project office. The concept of a project office and some practical aspects of its creation and functioning are considered. An overview of the forms and main functions of the project office as an element of the corporate project management system is made. The existing types of its organization are shown, as well as the main stages of work on the creation of a project office in an educational organization. The results of studying the practical experience of creating and functioning of project offices in individual professional educational organizations of the Chelyabinsk region are presented, which showed that project offices, being a unique phenomenon for each individual organization taken, solve their own set of tasks, have different responsibilities, occupy a different place in the structure of the organization, have their internal schemes of work.
