Design of multi-agent building management system with ontologies

This article describes the design of a building management system. One of the problems that arise in the design is the task of organizing the harmonious work of traditional and advanced control systems for engineering equipment. Another problem is the identification of preferences and of people's activities. To solve these problems, the author suggests using a multi-agent approach. Based on the analysis of the architectures of multi-agent building management systems from literary and Internet sources, the classification of agents was conducted, as a result of which a list of agents was created and agent classes and their characteristics were determined. An example of constructing the architecture of a multi-agent building management system is shown, a description of the functions of individual agents is given. The design solutions were tested by computer simulation of the multi-agent system in the AnyLogic environment. For the first time classes of agents are proposed, which are the basis for building the architecture of a multi-agent building management system.
