Productivity of plant communities and forest litter formation during self-restoring succession on technogenic materials

This paper concerns soil and vegetation cover restoration on technogenic material at the transitional stage from grassy to woody ecosystems. The productivity rate of communities, composition and amount of plant waste were measured. Plant waste destruction was studied for particular parameters. Vegetation class (meadow, leafy forest) on technogenic loam affects the differences between types of weakly developed soils.
