Procedural status of the expert: differences in the procedural status of the expert and the specialist in the criminal procedure

This article focuses on the study of the procedural status of an expert, studied some of the features of an expert. Some problems that arise in practice in this area are also considered. The differences between the procedural statuses of an expert and a socialist in the criminal process are considered. A small analysis of some provisions of the research topic is made. Without a doubt, this topic is relevant at the present time.
