Process-technological aspects of optimizing students’ independent work in foreign language lessons

The relevance of the research topic is due to the fact that high-quality foreign language professional training of students is possible with the improvement of self-educational and self-managing functions of the student. The article reveals the procedural and technological aspects of optimizing independent work in foreign language classes for students of law higher education institutions. Professionally oriented communicative competence of students is achieved through the widespread use of active teaching methods, including project technologies that allow the teacher to create problem situations. The novelty and significance of the result obtained lies in the fact that the pedagogical technologies used at each stage of the organization of independent work of students are presented: reproductive, productive, creative. Particular attention is paid to information and communication technologies, which act as a technological component of the pedagogical model for optimizing students’ independent work in foreign language classes. The article shows the relationship between formal, non-formal and informal education in terms of developing the skills of independent work of students of legal specialties in foreign language classes.
