Problems of formation of the basic economic-legal institutions of the Russian Federation

Introduction: the article is devoted to some problems of formation of institutional foundations of modern Russian statehood. The article examines the experience of political and legal reforms to update the society, the political system and create a market economy. Inefficiency of adoption of legislative norms in isolation from civilizational foundations of a society is shown. The article analyzes the ideological foundations of western legal systems, the role of protestantism in the formation. The lack of reliance on the society's reserves, support and understanding of the population, the solution of short-term tasks and the lack of a long-term strategy have caused significant losses, impoverishment of a significant part of the population. At the same time, the author assesses the use of liberalism as an idea of the basic law of the country, which has been forming its national legal mentality on catholicity values and self-limitation for many centuries.
