Issues of insufficient availability of reference and information material on the history of educational area created by the Russian emigrants abroad and possible ways of solving the problem

The article is concerned with the issues of inadequate reference and information supply of data that would enable to study the history of development of the Russian educational area abroad. The author proves the necessity for publishing a special reference and information edition - the encyclopedia "School, education and pedagogical thought of the Russian emigration: 1918-1939" in order to fill part of existing information gaps.
