Problems of improving the national payment system in the Russian Federation

The article discusses aspects of improving the national payment system of the Russian Federation. The object of research is the national payment system of the Russian Federation. Main research is devoted to studying the existing opportunities for the development of the national payment system. The paper proposes new solutions to the current problems of the payment system and choice of ways of increase of efficiency of its functioning. The second part suggests ways to improve the marketing attractiveness of the domestic payment cards. In the research and analysis of transactions using payment cards was used statistical data of the Central Bank of Russia. The same method was used for collecting information and surveillance. The object of this study is banking sector of the Russian economy. The issues of development of own payment system of the modern state, as well as the specifics of different payment systems in the banking sectors of the economy, the understanding of the mechanisms of the world economy. The article used different sources of literature, electronic resources, and legislation and amendments thereto.
