In article the major factors influencing numerosity of sturgeon fishes in Caspian sea are considered. Data about dynamics of numerosity of stellate sturgeon juveniles in the sea and the river are cited, results of genetic-biochemical researches about change of genetic diversity in stellate sturgeon under the artificial reproduction. The conclusion that anthropogenous pressure upon the sea is those that its ecosystem is in a stage of structural and functional reorganization in which the niche of sturgeon fish populations can be considerably reduced is done.
