Principles and conditions of the vocal repertoire selection at the discipline "Musical education" for the students of the theatre department

The article touches the problem of necessity and importance of selection and work over musical material (repertoire) for the students. Modern conditions dictate that vocal teachers should form more precise and well-developed approaches and principles of teaching the students of the theater department a musical discipline for the future actors to be able to enrich themselves by necessary theoretical and practical knowledge about the art of music in accordance with the requirements of the modern theater. Teaching vocals to the students of the theater department is compulsory in the specialists’ training. The professional approach is important in teaching the students musical disciplines.
