The international principles and approaches to the assessment of business reputation are considered. Analyzed the principles and approaches to assessing business reputation, adopted in accordance with the methodology of the Bank of Russia. A list of criteria for business reputation established for members of management bodies, managers, officials and owners of major socially significant financial organizations is presented. The directions of further improvement of legislation in the field of control over business reputation are presented.
