The principle of equality and the problem of its consolidation in the Russian Federation constitution

Objective: Identification of problems securing the principle of equality in Article 19 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the formulation of proposals to address them taking into account regional and international experience. Methodology: We used the dialectical, logical, systematic, dogmatic and comparative legal methods. Results: The views expressed in this article are opinions and recommendations aimed at removing imperfections in the structure of the constitutional provisions enshrining the principle of equality. Novelty/originality/value: The scientific novelty of the article is that the author has made a critical first comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the provisions of Art. 19 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the author formulated proposals to improve the design of the constitutional principle of equality.
