Use of gelototherapy in complex treatment for women with hypertension

This work is a part of a huge scientific investigation which is devoted to study of effects of gelototherapy in practice of borderline disorders. This experiment takes into consideration dynamics of psycho-emotional sphere indicators and indicators of quality of life of women with hypertension while conducting of group gelototherapy (laugh therapy) together with the usual somatic therapy. This work also takes into account the structure of accompanying mental disorders. It presents a correlation between the psychological indices of women with hypertension before and after group gelototherapy sessions in comparison with results of control group. The introduction explains the relevance and topicality of the work, presents the authors patent and the Federal License to apply the method of gelototherapy/laugh therapy in Russian Federation. Research results and discussion parts present the correspondence between several psychological (anxiety, depression, mood, stomach and heart pain complains etc.), somatic (changes in blood pressure) and metabolic (change in the general cholesterol rate) indices before and after group gelototherapy sessions, as well as statistic value of research conducted. The final part of the work presents the corresponding conclusions, which are followed by the bibliography list.
